WOW! WADE OVAL WEDNESDAYS RETURNS
CLEVELAND, May 4, 2022 – University Circle Inc. (UCI) announced today the return of WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays this summer, made possible by PNC Bank. The event features ten free concerts that take place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m., June 15 through Aug. 17.
“Visitors will experience a new format this summer with an earlier start time,” said David Robinson, UCI’s director of Events & Engagement. “This change essentially doubles the lineup of musical artists enjoyed by concert goers with opening and intermission acts. You’ll recognize some familiar sounds on stage, but we’re excited to introduce new artists ranging from New York to Youngstown.”
This year’s lineup features a mix of crowd-pleasing favorites and amazing new talent representing multiple musical genres:

Guest emcees from local television and radio stations will host each evening’s concert and many dates will feature talent from University Circle institutions including the Music Settlement, Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Institute of Music. Attendees can look forward to the return of local food trucks and vendors, the beer & wine garden and kid-friendly activities.
