On behalf of “Operation Fitness”, I would personally like to invite you to attend The Shape Up America Free Health & Fitness Expo, which is being held at The Grove retail and entertainment complex in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. There are over 50,000 health-minded consumers that visit The Grove Retail and Entertainment Mall every Saturday during the summer and we estimate even more will attend this spectacular event.
We will be offering something for every member of the family including: free health screenings, fitness demonstrations for children and adults, nutrition lectures, motivational speakers, life coaching, healthy cooking demonstrations/healthy shopping tips, athletic competitions, strength challenges, dance performances, martial arts classes, bullying prevention lectures and free product giveaways. Obstacle course challenges for the kids and adults will be offered, along with a variety of information and products for pet owners and animal lovers alike. In addition, renowned fitness celebrities will be honored for the impact they have made to the health and well being of our nation.
The Shape Up America Campaign fitness events provide a unique opportunity for health practitioners, exhibitors, sponsors, nonprofit groups, and city, county, state and federal agencies to reach a well-informed, intelligent, and open-minded audience; showcase their programs, products and services, and present their campaigns and ideas to the public. We are currently scheduling guest speakers for our lectures series and you can be assured that the sessions will be led by leaders and innovators who can provide the crucial information needed to change the health of our nation.
It is vital that we make a change now before it is too late. Americans are neglecting their health, when simple changes can make a difference in the overall quality of their lives. With encouragement and options for making that change, America will once again be a leader in health and fitness. Together we can make a significant and measurable change.
