Naturally Soergel’s Celebrates Fifth Anniversary
Pittsburgh’s premiere healthy living store serves allergen-free, sale natural and organic audiences
Pittsburgh’s premiere healthy living store is celebrating it’s fifth anniversary, site continuing to grow and offering customers a broad range of allergen-free, natural and organic grocery and specialty products.
“Naturally Soergel’s is Pittsburgh’s premier source for gluten-free, allergen-free, natural and organic foods and grocery,” said Amy Soergel, who opened the store in 2009 in Wexford, Pa. “We carry more than 1,200 different gluten-free products, plus a wide selection of peanut-free, vegan and vegetarian options. But what really makes us stand out is the expertise our staff provides to our customers.”
Many of Naturally Soergel’s employees live the same lifestyles as their customers, either by choice or due to medical conditions. This first-hand experience provides the employees greater insight into the needs of Naturally Soergel’s customers and greater experience with products carried by Naturally Soergel’s.
“Our employees know our product line better than those in any other store I have visited,” said Soergel. “We don’t just bring in a new product because it’s available – we try the products we sell and only carry products we like and believe in.”
Soergel opened the store after several years of living with celiac disease and ulcerative colitis. Seorgel studied public health at Johns Hopkins University and received her Masters degree in Public Health in epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating, Soergel became a holistic health counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She follows a strict gluten- and dairy-free diet and is happy to help customers find the foods and grocery items that fit their dietary and lifestyle needs.
Naturally Soergel’s is located 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh just of Route 79 in Wexford, Pa. For more information, visit www.Soergels.com
